About the Role:
We are seeking a talented Electrical Engineer with a strong background in developing innovative electrical control architectures to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for a creative and analytical professional who has hands-on experience with PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers), microcontrollers, and possesses a solid understanding of power electronics. The successful candidate will be Circularity Fuels’ first Electrical Engineering hire and play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing electrical control systems that meet our stringent quality and performance standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and test novel electrical control architectures for renewable fuel reactors.
Program and configure PLCs and/or microcontrollers for control and automation tasks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with mechanical, electronic, and software components.
Integrate system simulations and real-world testing to validate designs.
Provide technical support for electrical systems, including troubleshooting and problem-solving.
Stay abreast of emerging control systems and power electronics technologies to incorporate innovative solutions into designs.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical control systems design
Proficiency in programming PLCs and/or microcontrollers
Familiarity with electrical CAD software for schematic design and layout
Experience designing and building sensor dashboards and data pipelines
Experience with automation software (LabView, SEL, Siemens PLC, etc.)
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills
Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate technical concepts clearly
